Dubai Carbon kicked off the 2013 training curriculum with part 1 of the Training Module ‘Carbon Excellence’. It was attended by sustainability and operations managers from various industries, including oil and gas, aluminum, telecommunications, utility and hospitality.
The training focussed on the theory and practice behind Corporate Carbon Footprinting. The delegates went through a curriculum aiming at establishing carbon accounting systems in their respective companies, with exercises on data gathering, carbon accounting and calculations and Monitoring, Reporting and Verification (MRV) systems.
