Dubai police appoints DCCE as low-carbon consultant

Dubai, UAE; 24 February 2013: Dubai Police will engage DCCE to develop low-carbon emission projects and monitor the reduction process .

A Memorandum of Understanding was signed as framework agreement for the collaboration by Major General Rashid Al Mazroui, Director General of the Department of Services and Equipment of Dubai Police, and Waleed Salman, Chairman of DCCE. HE Saeed Mohammad Al Tayer, Vice Chairman of the Supreme Council, Major General Khamis Mattar Al Mazeina, Deputy Commandant General of Dubai Police, Major General Abdul Rahman Rafie, Director of Community Service at Dubai Police, and Ahmad Butti Al Muhairbi, Secretary General of the Supreme Council of Energy were present.

“It is outstanding that an organization entrusted with security of its residents is also very active in the protection of it’s resources.” says Ivano Iannelli, CEO of DCCE. With this initiative, the Dubai Police is showing great leadership towards ‘Green Economy for Sustainable Development’, as launched by HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai last year.
