The UAE State of Energy Report is the leading benchmark publication on the country’s energy sector. The annual report is published by the UAE Ministry of Energy, and is created in collaboration with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and Dubai Carbon.
The report was launched on October 22nd 2014 at the World Energy Conference in Cartagena, Lima as an element in the Ministry’s successful bid to host the World Energy Congress in 2019.
Each chapter is introduced by a chapter champion, a dignitary as leading expert on the respective topic, followed by an analytical main article and journalistic contributions, on initiatives, interviews and much more.
Together, the seven chapters focus on the importance of steps taken by the UAE on renewable energy contributions in the UAE’s energy diversification policy and energy efficiency criteria, as well as the consolidation of efforts to achieve clean, safe and sustainable energy and reduce the effects of climate change.
