New Employees Roadmap

As we welcome you to Dubai Carbon, we have outlined out a Roadmap that will guide you through your first 3 months.

You are expected to carry out the activities included in the Roadmap, so make sure that you keep an eye out to confirm that your time here is in line with what is expected of you.

First Month Essentials

During your first month on the new job, we imagine you will need a refresher from the first day, as well as lots of new information.

We have devised a First Month Roadmap, to give you a sense of some of the things you should be doing on your first month here, like who you should meet, the trainings you will be doing, and the weekly policy focuses.

Your first month will include a series of trainings, such as the ISO standards, the DP security and HSE, and ERP. You can read all about these and more training sessions, and how to schedule them through this link.

As you can see, each week has a number of policy focuses. These are the policies that you need to learn about in your first month at Dubai Carbon, they are linked here.

First Quarter

The first 90 days at a new job are critical in establishing your success. After your first month, you are going to be given a lot more responsibilities than in your starting weeks. To make sure you’re on track with your Line Manager’s expectations, we’ve made another roadmap for you. This one is longer term – 3 months.

Check it out once in a while to see if what you’re doing at work is in line with meeting these expectations.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The weekly policy focus will be carried out throughout your first 3 months at Dubai Carbon. By this we mean that it is your responsibility to access the policy portal and familiarize yourself with the Dubai Carbon policies. We’ve split them up into weeks so that it won’t be too much homework in one go!
