As a first step and part of your induction, each new joiner will have to attend an induction session organized by the HR Department and presented by the same. During the session, you will learn about Dubai Carbon, who we are and how we operate.

Moreover, as a requirement by Dubai Petroleum Establishment, each one of you will have to attend a session where you will learn about what is expected from you in regards to Health and Safety (HSE) and Security.

ISO Standards Training
During your first month as a new employee, you will be required to attend training sessions for the ISO 90001 and ISO 14064.
ISO 90001 is a quality management system intended to improve the operations of a business. ISO is a system of specific requirements that a business should meet and this standard must meet the requirements based on ISO 9000, a system of business-quality standards.
For the training, you will need to contact Moamen Younis by email and he will schedule your training during your first week. Moamen himself will conduct the training.
ISO 14064 is an environmental management standard. It specifies the principals and requirements at the organizational level for quantification and reporting of GHG emissions and removals. It includes requirements for the design, development, management, reporting and verification of an organization’s GHG inventory.
Training for this standard is required for non-administrative Dubai Carbon staff and is voluntary for administrative employees.

Enterprise Resource Planning is a business management software that allows an organization to use a system of integrated applications to manage the business to the best of its ability. The software integrates all facets of an operation including development, sales, and marketing.

PRINCE 2 Foundation provides knowledge for effective project management. By completing PRINCE 2 Foundation you will gain leading project management skills and greater employment prospects within Dubai Carbon as an organization.
An introduction will be given to you by a member of staff. The training itself is scheduled to take place at the end of the calendar year, but this opportunity will depend on the number of employees included in the batch. Should there not be enough space for a new employee to participate, he or she will go through the training the following year.
